My sql server re starts every 4 hours, how can i fix this problem where do i go to check or configure the issue

What does the Error Log Files show? Any information in them?
Do you see any peculiar activity that caused this. Since when did this restarting issue begin, did you change anything on the Server like any configurations or updates to the System etc...

Is it just the SQL Server service that is restarting or is the entire server rebooting?

i dont know how to get to the error log files to see the problem could you tell me how to get to the error log files.

Well, the windows error log is available using the event viewer. Start -> All Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer.
The SQL Server error logs can be found in SSMS/Enterpirse Manager under Server Name -> Management -> SQL Server Logs.

If the entire Windows Machine reboots, have your System Engineers/ Admins not been able to find what's wrong with it, rather than a SQL guy trying to figure it out.

I agree, have your system admins look at the issue. It almost sounds like an issue where the system is running out of memory or is getting a critical error causing it to reboot. If you are certain that it is rebooting
every
four hours, then that should not be that hard to determine when to monitor the server for failures.

In case it's not. Get your windows admins to look into the problem. A rebooting server is not a SQL Server problem.
