A brief description of what is being achieved here would be really handy for anyone uncertain what this is trying to do. I think I know but it isn't the same as knowing.

Good, handy snippet! Thanks for sharing.

Small point... watch your case on names. The code, as is, won't work on Case Sensitive systems.

The function names Fn_trace_getinfo & Fn_trace_gettable are not capitalized in master.
