The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)

    i often get the following error when i try to open sql server management studio

    The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005), Click on OK to terminate the application

    sometimes after several attempts it starts but sometimes i have to reinstall sql express edition. for a few days it works fine and again i gives this error

    please help to resolve this issue

    I regret for delayed reply

    i have genuine Mcafee installed on my computer. I scanned with it and got Adware-BHO.gen

    I removed it with removal tool

    after some time I again got the same problem

    Under events and logs(Inbound Events) in McAfee I can see the following 2 ips trying to continuously access my computer

    (i've banned both ips)

    Source IP - Event Information

    192.168.1.29 - NetBios Datagram

    192.168.1.95 - NetBios Datagram

    the description is

    a computer in your banned ip list at 192.168.1.95 has attempted to access UDP port 138 on your computer

    UDP port 38 is commonly used by the NET Bios datagram service or program. Netbios is used for windows file sharing. It can be exploited to access files on your computer

    i scanned my comp with google spyware doctor as well and found tracking cookies. i removed it.

    I am still uncertain of whether i am protected or not

    any help?
