Hi,
i'm having a problem when i try to use the openrowset to export data from the SQL Server 2005 to Excel.
For example, the data is being exported to excel, but the data in SQL that is numeric data is being captured as text in Excel. Is there a solution, for this, i would like to capture the numeric data as numbers in excel.
Thank you

I believe you might find the code, or something similiar enough to be adapted so that you can format the particular column as mumeric rather than text in this article.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
