    actually i am starting sqlserver and it showing error: 1068

    what could be the reason.

    and how to handle that problem

    What's the full error with complete error message?

    I have experience this recently and it was as a result of installing Access2007 and Access2003 and something going wrong in the process resulting in corrupt registry entries.

    After much investigation, I resolved the problem by re-installing one or both (i forget now) versions of Access.
