Hi,
I am facing some kind of wierd problem. I have SQL Server 2005 express edition (with advanced services) installed on my Laptop. After completing the installation i am unable to find "Analysis " and "Integration" services project templates in BIDS. Is it that express edition doesn't come up with these two project templates ? Would be grateful if any one could throw some light on how to install Analysis and Integration services with Express edition. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Kiran

I gave you the link to Express with Advanced services so you can develop Reports not Integration Services or Analysis Services, for those you need either SQL Server Standard edition or Enterprise. You can start with the trial software it is Enterprise edition good for six months and you should buy the developer edition it is $50 or less online and it is also Enterprise edition.

Kind regards,

HI Gift,
Thanks for the info. I have downloaded the Enterprise edition 180 day trial today for learning Integration and analysis services.

Thanks
Kiran
