Hi,

My sql server agent services is not starting.I just cant understand why this thing happened suddenly.Though i tried several times and tried to start both by automatic & manually.Also I restart the server but there is no change.And one funny thing is that though I have unregistered the EM from server but it is coming automatically.So I cant understand how this thing possible.

Please help me out to find a solution and to start my sql server agent services.

hi,

do one thing... goto services... in run type services and then in services ...
sql server agent(mssqlserver) try to restart or start from here.... is there any positive result if no then
go to properties of that services in logon change account and try it must be run... you can set network services or administrator account ... try this and tell me

Check event log for more info and error message on why it is not starting.
