Anybody had any experience of combining database mirroring and replication?
We want to use transactional replication on a database that is being mirrored to a second server in a high availability configuration, i.e. a witness server.
We'd be replicating to a separate server that would act as the distributor as well.

I should just point out we're using SQL Server 2005, no plans to go to 2008 for a good few years.

When it comes to replicating a mirrored database I don't think there is a lot of difference between 2005 and 2008. Transactional replication hasn't changed at all and mirroring too has undergone only minor changes.

Mirroring is a bit easier in 2008 with the registry entry made for the failover by applications.
