Hello

Can anyone let me know how end user can print the report that is displayed
to them using the asp.net web application. How we can prompt the user
to solely print in the excel format.

Do you mean save the data in Excel? Excel isn't really something you print to, but it might be something you export to or save to.

Reporting Services does have options for saving a report to Excel. You might want to look into those.
