It should be the last font on the dropdown, Luis.

How sure are you about that?

Pretty sure, I don't think there is but one interface. Or are they language specific?

Maybe. How long do you think we can keep this up before someone gets annoyed at us? Obfuscation is my life.

I think they are just ignoring it

Clearly, some of you need more to do at work. Shouldn't you be off answering questions or something?
Fortunately, it all translates easily enough if you just click "Quote"

It's almost lunch time on a Friday, I'm hungry, and I'm waiting on someone to send me a description of the columns in a txt file that I need to import. My motivation for beginning new tasks that do not involve gustation is low.

They are all in plain english for me. Weird. As I quote I can see the font tags.

I have firefox and they all display just fine, although the font size is smaller than normal.

It's not really annoying as long as you have a notepad open.
The dropdown list on SSMS won't show Wingdings or any other symbol's font

Or you can just hit the "quote" button and read it. But Wingdings shows up in my dropdown list as a valid font. This may be a question for Steve.

Are you talking about SSC or SSMS?

It seems like a firefox related issue as I can reproduce it on firefox, but it shows the correct font on IE and Chrome

While you can do WingDings on the forum pages, some of us don't have it as an installed font and so can't set up SSMS to use it...

So nyeah!

On my machine there are 5 fonts with names beginning Y. They are the last fonts in the dropdown, which lists in alphabetic order. I thought the dropdown listed all fonts installed on the machine, but on checking I find it doesn't - maybe SSMS (in SQL 2012) permits only opentype layout fonts?

I suspect they can't see it; of course if they try a quoted reply they will see the font tags, but if they don't they will see whatever the default fon is.

I think they are just ignoring it

Or just not seeing it?
