I don't have a backup

Sorry to hear that.
Let this be an incentive to implement a backup plan.

I know I know

But when do most people adapt some best practices?
After they messed up (one time too many).
... hopefully still keeping their job.

Or hopefully not keeping it, depending on what "one time too many" means.

I don't have a problem with people screwing up. I do have a problem with people repeating the same screw-up multiple times, unless the screw-up is so trivial that it can do no harm, even when repeated continually (in which case, it isn't really a screw-up, is it?).

Tom I always make it a point to make a new and different mistake / screw up!

Thanks, Koen, and thanks for the tip on the photo. I've finally caught up on the thread after PASS Summit and got a chance to change my Twitter photo.

Hey I met you as well on Friday afternoon sitting in the community area with Dan and Mitch - cool didn't make the connection!

A bit of business to conduct

1. Thanks to Koen. Manning the support lines (SSC) while many of us were incognito. You had the best quip of the week (think missing backup thread).
2. Summit was good. It was nice to meet and talk to sooo many people. And yes that includes Rod, though I technically met him before Summit at SQLSaturday in Charleston leading up to Summit.

Indeed - I forgot to say you were also on the "Bucket List" or Threadizens to meet!
I enjoyed Charleston, small compared some SQL Sats, but great bunch of people and a lot of first time SQL Sat attendees which is cool (wearing PASS member, supporter of SQL Saturday hat there)...

Hopefully I will be able to attend PASS next year!

Rodders...

Well, you could pay him a visit in Afghanistan...

Wayne, I could but I had too much fun at PASS not to go again next year!
And the 8 hour flight nearly wiped me out!

Hmm - sure it was me? I didn't spend much time in the Community Zone. Maybe at the Birds of a Feather luncheon at the Source Control table, though?

Guess who just caught up the Thread? Ha Ha

I'm still having the odd flash back to Red Cubes, Ducks, Everyone wearing Blue shirts (for two reasons), green shirts, kilts, Sentry's driving buses and Jedi's!

Friday around 2 30 pm. Dan and Mitch sitting on floor, introduced me to another Sacramento person - thought it as you? Could be wrong though!

In which case you are on the Bucket List for next year with Lynn!

Spot the Threadizens!
I also have some more shots that weren't used. Which I'll sort out - including Gail as a Jedi telling everyone about corruption!

Sadly, a case of mistaken identity - I'm from Memphis, Tennessee. I'm honored to be on your bucket list, though. Keep your fingers crossed that my training budget doesn't faceplant over the next 12 months!

Love the pic of Tony looking like he's too tired to even bother.
