Hi All,
Recently i got a job as a Production support DBA ...,and i have one week time left to join that job.
Can any one please help me.. On what topics i have to concentrate more ..so that my job will be very easier ..Basically the requirement is that i have to support the production databases intheir environment,Ofcourse they gonna train me what to do but im eager to learn something before..please help me out

I would suggest first concentrating on the sections Day-to-Day, Security, Job Maintenance and Performance Monitoring.
