Suggest you use INFORMATION_SCHEMA views to search for your columns. Reason: it is part of the ISO SQL Standard offering and suitable across heterogeneous systems, and, more importantly, much more elegant.

When u r not considering Views as a part of database ... how can u say this as "SQL Script To Find For A Particular Column In A Database" instead say "SQL Script To Find For A Particular Column In All Tables of a Database"
