Hi,

In my Olap Cube, My monthly figures are correct, however, when it aggregates to yearly figures, then the total of yearly figures will automatically sum up the monthly figures, understand that this is the nature of the aggregated columns.

If I want my total yearly figures are the average numbers of the monthly figures, can I do that?

eg.
Country Transport Year Month Average
-SPORE -BUS -2008 1 1000.00
2 1000.00
4 1000.00
Total 3000.00

The example above, the Total of the Month which is Year figure is 3000.00, can I get the Year Figure = 1000.00 which is the Average of the 3 Month figures?

Thanks.

It's not too clear what you are tryin to achieve, however SUM is only one of many aggregation behaviours...

Perhaps you might want to look at creating a measure based on the same data but with an average of children aggregation.

Either that or create a calculated member to return the average on the fly in your MDX

Kind Regards, Will
