My Posts is not showing any

  • When I click on My Posts at the top of a Forums page, and arrive at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Search1-0-2.aspx?SessionID=h1sfqz45bt5b3pi4xk3513jy&SortBy=2&SortOrder=1 it says "Your search did not return any results." and I see no criteria options that are limiting the search.

I posted a few times in http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic513518-1312-2.aspx (Home » Article Discussions » Article Discussions by Author » Discuss content posted by GSquared » Audit Trails and Logging Part I), first Posted 6/9/2008 10:00 PM.

  • Wow, something's broken. I'll log a bug.

I see this post only in your list of posts, but then see your name in the thread.

  • Thanks Steve! I don't think it should affect this, but just in case, note that I used my .net email to post both this and that. I have also logged in sometimes with my .com email by mistake, but have never posted that way.

  • Still not seeing any posts under "My Posts" except this thread, and yesterday I posted to:

    http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic595515-1411-1.aspx

  • Very strange. Could you have two registrations? Perhaps under another email with the same display name?

  • I do have two registrations, but there should be nothing in common. I registered initially as tomk@tomkellerconsulting.net back when I wasn't sure about this site, as I filter that address more. That is the profile I have filled out all the info on. However, when I come to your site on a new computer and want to read an article, it is way too easy to create a new account by mistake by using a different email. So I have an account as tomk@tomkellerconuslting.com but I have filled out no info on it, so the display name is not the same (would it really key on that?)

If you would like to delete the .com one, then I can change the email on the .net one to .com and continue with that account. Thanks!

  • I did a search for my problem and came up with this page which seems similar

when I press the "My posts" button I only get posts in forums, I don't get posts from article discussions even though those pages have the same "My Posts" button
