very nice work. thanks. we wrote this a few years back and posted a how to here: http://www.wijix.com/post/Bulk-Loading-XML-into-SQL-Server-2005-using-NET.aspx

We used SQLXML and bulk loaded it into sql. the database creates a new table exactly replicating the xml structure. very similar.
