The Pivot function in Excel is just great.
But can any one guide me to a great introduction on Analysis Service.
I have seen a lot of presentation showing how to use the Analysis data in Excel. But no one show how to build Perspectives and Cubes in Analysis Services.

| Can you explain or provide a URL to a resource that explains how the communication works between excel 2007 and Analysis Services? Is it TCP/IP or does it communicate over web services? If the latter, how do you configure a connection to work over https?
