Hi,
Enabling Full Text search option in 2005 can increase performance of the query if how pls tell as i am doing R & D.
Waiting for the reply regarding Full Text search option.

FullText searching is a different type of querying. I would suggest you start by reading about it in Books Online and on the MS website and come back and post here if you have any specific questions.

Actually we did the query tunning but still that query performance is not gud still getting timeout error.
I actually wanted to know in which or situation we are using full text search mode can u give some practical examples it will be good for me.

Full Text searching is for searching large values of text for some data, similar to what you get with Google, Live Search, etc.
If you have queries that you are using to search for exact values, or they are small values (varchar(100 and less) , then you would use normal queries, not full text.
Full Text is for text. Did you read Books Online?
