Access 2003 .mdb in Access 2007

  • I previously posted help in trying to obtain a Virtual File Server / Virtual PC running Access 2003, and I've looked around, but I cannot find anything like this . (I did find a SQL 2005 one 😀 )

So, is there any compadibility issues with opending up an Access .mdb within Access 2007 and saving it as an Access 2003 .mdb?

I appreciate it any help, thanks.

  • Yes...You can open the MS Access 2003 DB in MS Access 2007 or you can create the DB in MS Access 2007 then save it as MS Access 2003!

You have possibility to convert DB from 2000 to 2003 and 2007!

    :hehe:

  • Dugi, thanks for your help. What I specifically want to do is run Access 2003 on a Windows XP virtual machine on my Windows 2008 Server. Does anyone have any suggestions / a web link / where I can do this ? Thanks
