Process ID #:# owns resources that are blocking processes on scheduler #

    My logs are being flooded with the following messages -

    Process ID 163:53 owns resources that are blocking processes on Scheduler 5

    I googled the message and have found quite a few requests for help, but didn't find the solution.

    Has anyone run into this issue before?

    Running SQL 2000 sp3a

    I have same problem like that

    Running on SQL 2000 sp4

    4 processors dual core, HT

    32 GB RAM

    WIndows 2003 datacenter

    Until now I can't solve that problem

    - Check out KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319892. If you just want this message to go away then enable trace flag mentioned in the KB, otherwise troubleshoot for blocking issues in the server.
