[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]ConnectionCheckForData (CheckforData()).

    Hi,

    I was running a script (actually a stored proc)...after long time, it returned error mentioned below:

    -------------------------------------------------

    [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]ConnectionCheckForData (CheckforData()).

    Server: Msg 11, Level 16, State 1, Line 0

    General network error. Check your network documentation.

    Connection Broken

    ------------------------------------------------------

    Can anyone please take a look on it and help me out in this , really appreciate

    It is most likely a bug in SQL Server. It happens when there is some issues in networking, in particular when you are retrieving large amount of data.

    Try to apply latest service pack and hotfix.
