Our Client, a leading Underwriter in the Lloyd's of London Market are looking for an experienced Database Development Manager with a background in SQL database development.

Applicants must have an exceptionally high skill base in all aspects of SQL Server development.

Key responsibilities include managing the SQL database development team, acting as the technical lead on all SQL database development projects, managing project deliverables, integration work involving 3rd party applications & mentoring developers.

You will have worked on successful teams that include OO software developers & will have excellent knowledge of how to make SQL server perform. APplicants must also be able to perform performance improvements using execution plans & have exceptional communication skills.

Applicants must have experience of leading a development team and delivering enterprise level .NET, SQL Server and SOA based solutions within a financial markets environment, ideally insurance.
