I have a DTS package (sql server 2000) that I need to create where it is exporting data to an excel sheet. When I create the step it runs fine but the name of the tab in the .xls worksheet ends up being the same name as the worksheet. Is there anyway to control this through the DTS job.
Thanks.

Hi,
If I have understood your requirement correctly, this should work:
Under the destination tab of data transformation task, the connection shows " , below that it says "Table Name", there I think you can choose "Create" and use the name that you want.
