| Thank you very much for your post - it coincidentally occurs at the same time as a major project that is very much an analog to it has been handed over to me for maintenance and execution. Your post will be my late night reading for the next few days. Thanks again - it was fortuitous to come across your posting. Mike :)

Because of this:
The user requirement is described as follows:
1. Client gets extracts from five different source systems (.txt, .csv and .xls file) every month on different weekdays.

Christopher West (10/30/2007) I don't understand, if this is a monthly process why not just schedule it to run every month?
Because of this:
The user requirement is described as follows:
1. Client gets extracts from five different source systems (.txt, .csv and .xls file) every month on different weekdays.

It is a great article! Thanks for sharing a bunch of knowledge. On my part, I would like to know that how much time the whole process took you to complete? I know that it depends upon many factors, but suppose you are ready with the requirement then what the time will be. I liked the way of scheduling, however this is the first time I have come across any job scheduling defined from database. Thanks.

I am loading 5 different csv files into sqlserver db (into one table) by using 5 data flow tasks (each data flow for each csv), I am doing this monthly once manually. Would you please explain me how I need to automate this process.
Another thing is, how we can load csv file into sharepoint URL by using SSIS.
Its a kind of urgent...........
Advanced Thanks

Even after I moved Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll file to GAC (C:\Windows\Assembly) folder, I'm still not able add it as a reference to my script task. Do I need to reboot the server?
