I've created a script component as a Source (from a really ugly text file), and am trying to set the data type of each output. However, the data type drop down appears to be missing, with a black box in its place, and when I click it the window closes without saving. Is this a bug with my machine, or have I missed a patch somewhere?

Apparently I have not been prudent in keeping Visual Studio updated. I applied SP1 - a trivial task requiring just two hours of my time to download and install - and the problem is gone.
