HI guys,

I love the new look and feel of the site it's pretty cool and refreshing.

I was wondering however if you could put something on the "Latest forum posts" section to show if an item is an original post or if it is a reply to a post?

Thanks
Chris

There kind of is... if there's 0 replies then it's the original poster. What would you like to see to identify that?

HI ,
Thanks for the reply, I was referring to the main page.
At the moment I can't see anything that tells me if it is a erply or not.

Thanks
Chris

Chris,

Do you mean a new reply? I agree that the front page doesn't do a great job , but I'm not sure the old one showed replies at the top level.

The threads within each forum show show replies to that thread and the last one. If you look, you can compare the "started by" with the Last Post" to see if it's getting answers.

HI Steve,

Sorry yeah I should have mentioned that the last site didn't have it either :D

I was just wondering if you guys ever found time if you could add this as it's a nice to have so we don't have to go into the post to find out if it's new or already being dealt with
thanks
Chris

It's something to think about.

We're hesitant to change the forum code too much. We touched a bunch of stuff last time and it made upgrading impossible over time to fix bugs.

It will probably be a lower priority, but I'll add this to the list. Maybe we can come up with another way to get a good list.

Have you tried the "Recent Post" links or tried subscribing to a forum?

Thanks Steve,

That recent posts section is cool.
I'll start using that from how
