I would like to know whether during the installation can we only install SQL necessary binaries and not to install/launch SQL instance?
Like it should install only registry keys, dll etc but not launch a sql instance and whenever i want to install sql instance, i want to do via customized scripts to have different collation etc. Can this be possible?
