I have 4 sql servers 2008 to 2014. Moving a app to the cloud so I am having to change linked servers to point to this new location. Works all all my servers except my test 2014 server. I can even script out the linked server from a 2014 server that works and it still wont connect. It will pull up screen with system databases but not the user databases. The kicker is I can connect to using a management studio connection (takes forever) with same credentials and I see user databases
