Has anyone had any good success / experience of importing and indexing Word and PDF documents; in particular using the Adobe and MS Office iFilters?
Did you opt to extract the text and store the file in the filesystem? FileStream?
Or did you choose to store the document in a BLOB field?
How did it perform? Was management of such hassle at all?
