I am so regretting not going to SQL Bits XII - when it was a 25 minutes drive from home!!!

SQL Bits XV looks really exciting but unfortunately I will be playing in a (field) hockey vets tournament that weekend.

To all who attend, whether to present of not, please have a most enjoyable and knowledge filled time.

The Saturday of SQLBits XIV in London was great, the first i've attended and still amazed that it's free. Considering the costs of booking courses through training companies per day, and the access to a wide spectrum of topics it's definitely worth going. I think I fitted in 7 sessions last time, will be attending XV for sure!

I like SQLBits talks, because they are more conversational and don't use live demos. That works well for me, because I rip a lot of SQL Server related audio tracks to CD for listening in the car while driving to and from work.

I really like the website.

It would be nice to have a flag on the items to see the ones that have been made less important by a subsequent presentation or by changes in SQL.

Thanks Steve. It's a great community here at SSC so would have been great to see one or two from here and maybe learn a few things. I'll have to make XVI!!!

I would love to go, but I am pretty sure that would have to be on my dime. I don't the company would pay for me to fly to England for a conference.

Yep, sorry, I did know that but there are no trains from London arriving before 09.16 so it would mean a night in a hotel, etc. etc. Could still be do-able, and the agenda looks great.

Call me weird, but there are some really good MSSQL internals talks by someone like Kevin Kline or Paul Randal that I've listened to on a dozen or more occasions while stuck in traffic. It transports me to another time and place where stuff makes more logical sense than watching some county road crew tear up the highway for apparently no reason.
