Hi All,
We have PROD and DR configuration with 1 primary 2 sec-replica. ON PROD DC we have Primary -secondary replica with auto commit mode and one secondary replica with asynchronous mode ( data loss) on DR ( remote DC).
We are planning for a DR drill and wanted to failover to DR server and check the application connectivity.
Please do let me know the steps.

you'll need to ensure the primary and the asynch secondary replicas are synchronised and that the network connection is stable, if you want to test the failover with an element of safety then set the replica to synchronous beforehand

Thank you , that is indeed a very good input. I will follow-up on that.
Is there any checklist of steps to follow. I am bit confused as the remote DR DC is on file share. Will the failover be smooth?
