Hello ALL,
I am looking to build a DR solution for SSRS between two data centers. I have a plan in mind but would like to have SSRS guru's to have a input.
install a SSRS ( we are installing SSRS on a separate server) on a cluster resource for HA. Do the same on the other server in the other data center and setup mirroring between.
Is it a over kill ? or is the correct plan?

The SSRS service itself is not cluster aware. The only things you can cluster with SSRS are:
- The ReportServer databases
- The data sources
- The IPs that the ReportServer web service and the Report Manager interfaces are on
If you want HA for SSRS the preferred way is to setup multiple SSRS servers in a scale-out deployment with a load-balanced configuration and have the Report Server databases on a cluster (or AlwaysOn AG in newer versions if preferred).
