Using SSIS to import Excel sheets into SQL Server

    Hi,

    I have an Excel file with a drop down list and when one item is selected, the sheet re-calculates the sheet.

    How can I import the data from each version of the sheet (with recalculated) data using SSIS.

    I am aware of process to import simple Excel files using SSIS. Even in the situation above, I can save each sheet into different tabs and them import them. However, I would like to automate as much of the process as I can.

    I could be wrong here but writing a macro to generate EXCEL for each value from the pick list should solve your problem.
