It would be excellent if each series was available in epub format to be read on my ipad...

There are many option for saving something so you can read it later. I recently started using Pocket (https://getpocket.com). Pocket, or similar services, might give you that functionality,not just with the Stairways series, but with lots of other web content. I'm sure there's other such services for the Apple world.

What I do sometimes is click on the 'Print' link to display the article in print friendly layout, and then I'll save it as a PDF document using the PDF995 print driver. However, it is kind of a tedious process, and I actually prefer to read Stairway series articles from my desktop, so I can follow along in SSMS.
Redgate publishes some PDF formatted books that are better suited for reading on the smart phone.

We are looking to republish stairways as books as they finish. A number as still being worked on, though we have started the compilation process for others, with some updates.
