Hi,
I have a 3rd party product that has tables and object within the dbo schema of a given database, and I would like to set up dedicated AS400 Schema that the user can create/amend/delete tables in that schema but NOT in the dbo schema
CREATE ROLE LimitedCreatorRights;
GO
GRANT CREATE TABLE TO LimitedCreatorRights;
GO
GRANT SELECT ON SCHEMA::AS400 TO LimitedCreatorRights;
GO
drop user
GRANT ALTER ON SCHEMA::AS400 TO LimitedCreatorRights;
GO
But one I test this with a user he can also create on dbo schema

The question is how do I set up a role that allows table creation in a given schema in this case AS400 but not dbo, as the script above does not achieve this
Is it possible ?
Thanks
