Hi guys,
I am installing SQL server 2014 on windows 2012 R2, this server already have two more SQl server 2012 instances.
while installation i got a warning saying "Cluster resource DLL update" will restart the other active node.
my question is this "cluster resource DLL update" will not impact my running SQL 2012 other just a reboot. ?
thanks

are the running instances clustered?
which node are they active on?

Yes, the running instances are clustered.
they both are on Node1 and i am installing on node1

then a reboot will have an impact on the running instances. You'd be best to move them before the reboot so they are unaffected by node1 going offline
