I reject your test as completely invalid and a waste of my time and superior intellect along with my ability to craft nonsensical run-on sentences for no purpose other than getting subscribed to this ludicrous test which I think I already mentioned was invalid but other than that, thanks.

And one more time.

I found an option when posting to a topic where you can set your Topic Subscription Notification Type. It can be none or Immediate and what ever you set this to becomes the default for the next time you post. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to change the notification setting for the topic you are in when you change the type.
Why isn't this setting available in your user profile if you are the one looking at your profile? This setting should be able to be edited there just like your avatar, PM and email settings, signature, etc.

One more test.

But if I cancel my subscription to the topic then post again with the Immediate notification setting, I will not start getting notifications for this topic.

Okay, mystery somewhat solved. I just don't remember setting my default to none.

I feel that your rejection should be rejected because it contained insufficient nonsense and its sentences are inadequate not only in length but also in number and these failures when combined with the absence of sesquipedalian and longer words have led to text which is comprehensible by ordinary human beings instead of only by senior mandarins of central government bureaucracies, extremist right-wing politicians, extremist left-wing politicians, professors of social science, and anti-developer DBAs, despite being addressed to a forum which, because of its topic being, as you point out, both completrly invalid and ludicrous, is an unsuitable destination for comments which fail to restrict their comprehensibility in the manner described in this heap of claptrap which I am currently writing which is also deficient in number of sentences largely because someone has stolen the full stop key from my keyboard and I feel that terminating every sentence with an exclamation mark would be be misinterprested as shouting while the use of question marks would not be satisfactory because I am asking no questions, but never mind, it doesn't matter, thanks for your comment anyway
