I have a matrix
Sales
CountryUS $50,000
RegionNorthwest $10,000
AreaPuget $5,000
ProductA $1,000
B $3,000
C $1,000
I am having trouble getting the drillthroughs to work quite right. I want to be able to click on the $5000 related to Puget and send a product parameter to a drillthrough that contains A,B,C and none of the other products that might be sold in other areas.
Similarly, if I click on the $10,000 related to Northwest, I'd want to send all areas in the Northwest and all Products sold in the Northwest. but not areas or products from other regions.

Couple of things before you set up a drill through report:
1. Have a second report ready which displays the desired output when you pass parameters like $5,000, $10,000 or the region you want to pass.
2. Once you have the second report ready, right click on the cells which has the $Amount and goto the action section. You will have options for a drillthrough report.
3. Once you select the second report from the options, you have to map the second report's parameters with the values you want to pass, i.e the $Amount, Region columns in the first report.
Now save you work and try the drillthrough action.
