Hello,
I have a Dev box with Report services that is running fine. I can from the server Connect to both my Database and ReportServer instances without issue (using a network admin account). I have a user on the network running the same version of SQL Server Manager (2012) who can connect to the Database instance but not the ReportServer instance (using his Windows Account). He can how ever connect to the Reporting Services from the ReportServer webpage in his browser.
The error he gets from SQL Server manager is "A connection to the computer cannot be established. (Microsoft.SQLServer.Management.UI.RSClient) Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 08x0070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) (mscorlib)"
He does have rights to the Report databases.
What access rights am I missing for this user?
