I have been researching to see if we can get email when there is blocking in SQL Server 2000 but not able to find any information. Can somebody please let me know that is there any way to do that.
you have to have outlook or some mail client installed on the server then configure db mail. then build a job that checks for blocks every x minutes and emails admins
