Ive been walking through the examples for elastic scale and they are great doe showing how to set up the required managers, how to split and merge etc.
But two things they dont show are, and id appreciate some help understanding are:
-how to automatically scale up/out based on real metics, such as IO going above a certain value, or cpu being above 90% for a certain period. How do i constantly monitor useful metrics to allow scale up/out to occur at e right time when its needed.
-where can i run the code. All the demos are console apps run on my local machine. If i want to just constantly monitor metrics and scale up/out when necessary, where do i deploy that code to? I assume to a worker role (service) but as im far from a .net dev, im not really sure.
