We have a homemade VB application that connects to an instance of SQL Server 2005. It's been working for years. But recently, about once a day, the program won't connect to SQL. We have to manually restart the SQL Server browser service in order to fix the problem. When the service has been restarted, the program connect (using ADODB provider) and it goes fine.
can anybody help me on this please? What's wrong? Is something to do with our network?
