Profiler Permission?

    Hi All,

    If I want to give the access the Profiler to a new login what Permission do i have to give?

    ALTER TRACE

    And tell them to never use the Profiler GUI against a production server.

    Don't do it.

    Instead, give them permissions to create extended events[/url]. It's much more lightweight and much less fear of bringing down a production system.
