ssrs 2014 row level security

  • New to SSRS and especially to SSRS2014.

We are testing setting up an instance off SSRS 2104. From what I'm reading about previous versions of SSRS, row level security could be achieved using report models. But I read that these are deprecated in 2014.

What would be used to allow row level security in SSRS 2014? I would prefer not to start with something that will be going away.

Any suggestions or ideas what to look at would be appreciated. I've been searching for information and can't seem to find anything for ssrs 2014 that specifically addresses this issue.

    TIA!
