If I make a histogram chart in SSRS, it "naturally" groups counts of the items on the x axis(providers). If I change it to a "normal" bar chart instead, I end up with a separate point for every provider (there are hundreds). How can I bin or group the counts of providers who have had 0-10% patients in compliance, those who've had 10-20%, etc.? I've fiddled with the custom attributes in the properties of the chart series a lot without luck.
I've switched from Histogram (I have this working fine) to bar chart (vertical columns) because I am unable to use the drill through (action) of the chart series to drill though to a separate detail report with a histogram so I thought I'd use bar chart because they will allow this.
I've been messing with this all day and I think that I've looked everywhere in SSRS but I guess I haven't because I cannot get it to work. I'm using Visual Stduio 2013 to develop the reports if it matters. Thanks in advance.
