I have an audit table that gets a high number of INSERTs. The dotnet web application that writes to the table started reporting timeouts. My database monitor tool (Ignite) shows LATCH_SH as the top wait. The server is SQL Server 2008 R2. Looking for recommendations how to deal with that.
