Show/Hide column based on parameter choice

  Hi Everyone,

  I've been betting my head against the wall with this and would like any help you can give me.

  I have a parameter choice of '2 years' or '3 years' based on an expression that uses the start date parameter and minus 2 or 3 years from it. This creates a report with either 2 or 3 columns (dated 2014, 2013, etc.) depending on the parameter choice.

  Then I've created a column to the right of those columns which has an average (from and expression) for 2 years and another column that contains the average for 3 years.

  I want to show/hide the average column based on the number of years chosen in the 'show years' parameter and/or the number of columns showing which is based on the 'show years' parameter.

  Any suggestions. I either get an error saying the format of my expression is wrong or I simply get both the 2 year average and the 3 year average in the report.
