I've got a Production server with 4 data files on D:\ and 3 Log files on L:\. which was migrated from a different server.
My question is Can I leave all 4 Data files on D: and all 3 Log files on L: since I don't have extra drive besides C:\.
What are the suggestions or best practice for this senario?

Is this for a single database? If not, where is the 4th log file?

Yes it is single db. Only 3 log files. I think you can have as many as log file (not a good idea, i believe).

I don't know why the database has multiple data files, but, unless you are having performance issues, I wouldn't worry about them being on the same drive.
There is no reason to have more than log file per database. As a matter of fact multiple log files for a database can be a problem, see this article http://www.sqlskills.com/blogs/paul/multiple-log-files-and-why-theyre-bad/ by Paul Randal
