Hi,
I created a report in SSRS 2012 environment and deployed it into the local SSRS server ( installed in my own computer). It looks ok when I run the report. However, if I deploy the same report to a remote SSRS server, I cannot run the report. It gives me the following error:
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Cannot create a connection to data source (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
I have the following question on SSRS Deployment:
What should I do to be able to run the SSRS Report from the SSRS server when SRS and SQL Server database on separate servers?

Check the permissions of the account executing the report, you are more than likely using your credentials to execute the report, you may have to give the report account access to the database that the query is running against. Hope that helps, find out which account is running the report and logon to SQL STUDIO MANAGER and try to execute the query, you need to compare apples to apples.
