Yikes!
Here's my situation:
I have a database (SS2008) - about 400GB. As of the last full backup, it had 3 logical files in the primary filegroup.
(We take weekly fulls, nightly Diffs, hourly Log bkps)
This week, I noticed we were running low on space on one of the volumes for the logical files. I added an additional file and didn't think to run a FULL backup. So, we have Diffs and Log backups with the add'l .mdf and I can't find away around this for a restore.
I'm hoping there's a quick/easy solution. Not that the backups since the addition of the .mdf are useless.

Quick solution for what? I see a list of things that happened, but not a problem.

Adding the file is going to be a logged operation. The restore will include it.
